The boilers seem to be forgotten for some reason until something happens, take a shower, and discover that you don't have hot water. Then you panic and try to find someone to fix the boiler.
During the annual maintenance of the boiler, one of the most important inspections is the exhaust pipe. This should be checked to ensure that there is no carbon monoxide or combustion products on the joints and seals in the room where the boiler is located.

All condensing boilers have a built-in condenser that should be cleaned and checked for leaks. It is also part of the boiler smoke system.
When the boiler is running, the water it produces cleans the combustion chamber from all dirt and traps it.
